ISPIM and D’Amore-McKim School of Business invite researchers, managers, executives and consultants to the 2018 edition of the ISPIM Innovation Forum to:

The Boston-metro area has long been a center of innovation, leveraging and adapting to emerging technologies and trends. In the Annual Innovation Cities Index released by the global innovation agency, 2thinknow, Boston was ranked as the 3rd most innovative US city and 5th globally in 2017. Boston was the top city for creating a startup in 2016 (1776 “Innovation that Matters” report) and #2 city in America for Corporate Innovation (Innovation Leader, 2016). Bloomberg listed Massachusetts as the most innovative state in the USA in 2016. Characteristics of the city that contribute to this high level of innovative activity is a skilled and educated labor force, leading universities in basic academic science fields, innovation districts, proximity to major research hospitals, and the presence of venture capital resources. Boston is a city where innovative thinking underpins and drives many industries including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, robotics, clean energy, information technology, higher education, and government.

Submissions from academic, research, consulting, industry, intermediary and policy organizations are encouraged and should focus on the following general themes or the forum focus themes:
