LALICS Regional Forum Open Seminar 2017 “Challenges of Innovation Policy and Productive Development in Latin America and the Caribbean”
LALICS Regional Forum 2017 took place from 24 to 26 April 2017 in Santo Domingo and was organized by Santo Domingo Technological Institute (INTEC), LALICS Network and CYTED as part of the activities of CYTED COM-LALICS Network. The purpose of the open seminar was for attendees to immerse themselves in topics related to Science, Technology and Innovation Policies for Sustainable and Inclusive Development.

From 9th to 11th February 2015 the workshop “Academia – Productive sector linkage experiences analysis” was held at the University of Havana, Cuba,
In this workshop, more than 20 research proposals were analyzed; discussing topics such as knowledge transfer processes, determinants, agents, channels and linking academia with productive sector benefits, as well as Latin America vision about it.
LALICS 2013 International Conference “National Innovation Systems and Policies on STI for Inclusive and Sustainable Development”
First LALICS International Conference “National Innovation Systems and Policy CTI for Inclusive and Sustainable Development” was held on 11th and 12th November 2017 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The aim of the conference was to consolidate LALICS researcher’s network, constituting a discussion privileged space for regarding to learning processes, innovation and competence building from Latin America and the Caribbean countries point of view.
10th Globelics International Conference 9th – 11th November 2012 in Hangzhou, China
Globelics Tenth International Conference was a platform for interactive learning among North, West, South and East researches in order to enrich and improve the quality of innovation studies, regarding development and growth in the context of globalization and the acceleration of change.
The theme was ‘Innovation and Development: Opportunities and Challenges in Globalisation, hosted by Zheijiang University and featuring the first Freeman Lecture by Carlota Perez.
9th Globelics International Conference 15th – 17th November 2011 in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Globelics Ninth International Conference was held in November 2011 at Buenos Aires, Argentina. The conference focused on the following topics: inequality and sustainable development; productive dynamics, innovation and economic development; knowledge demand and supply in innovation systems: interactions, institutions and policies; how to deal with globalization and; creativity
Innovation for inclusive development was an important theme at the conference, held at Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento.
