On 24 and 25 April 2017, 4th CYTED COM-LALICS Network Workshop was held in the context of LALICS Regional Forum organized by Santo Domingo Technological Institute (INTEC), the LALICS Network and CYTED. The purpose of this workshop was to work on four roundtables in which the following themes were discussed:

Learning beyond four decades of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policies: actors, processes and structures.

Central America and the Caribbean experiences: the construction of National Innovation Systems (NIS) in Costa Rica, Cuba and Dominican Republic. 

Latin America Inclusion, Poverty Reduction and Competitiveness: Contradictory Objectives?

Latin America Science Technology and Innovation (STI) policies and innovation opportunities: a new look of business competitiveness.

Workshop: Thematic network to improve dialogue among involved communities in STI policies October 2016 in Lima, Peru

In the framework of the International Colloquium «Not only Policy Makers, neither Scientists: Inclusive Dialogues for Innovation, Science and Technology Policy Design» in Lima, Peru on October 26 to 29, 2016 was held the 3rd Workshop of CYTED COM-LALICS Network. This workshop summarized the work done during 2016, the memebers presented working papers and discussed the «Methodological Guidelines for the STI Dialogue Processes in Latin America and Spain.»

Workshop: Thematic network to improve dialogue among involved communities in STI policies October 2015 in Montevideo, Uruguay

CYTED COM-LALICS Network´s workshop was held in Montevideo on October 14 to 16, 2015 which has been working since 2014 on the conceptualization of the processes of dialogue between communities Involved in STI policies. This network seeks to define a methodology, which takes into account member countries learning, contributes to improve the processes of dialogue and favors the formulation of public CTI policies.

Workshop: Thematic network to improve dialogue among involved communities in STI policies Marzo 2015 in Mexico City

CYTED COM-LALICS Network´s workshop was held in Mexico City on November 17 and 18, 2014. The network proyect is to conceptualize the issue of dialogue among communities involved in the processes of STI and, from there, to define and implement a methodology to help improve dialogue between different communities and, therefore, the design and implementation of STI public policies.
