    Seminar Cycle: Science, Technology and Innovation policies for the desalination in the face of the crisis generated by COVID19

    The objective of the seminar cycle was to reflect on the impact of the current health crisis associated with the COVID pandemic on STI policies, particularly the interactions of these policies with health issues, inequalities, sustainability, the role of the State and governance, and new national objectives, as well as the emergence of new actors and the construction of a new network of relationships with old actors.     We have had Gustavo Crespi as the speaker for our July session. Gustavo is a Lead Specialist in the Competitiveness and Innovation Division in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He also served as Senior Program Officer at the International Development Research Center (IDRC) of Canada. His interests include Industrial Development, Technological Change, Industrial Structure and Development of the Firm and Management and Technology Policy Evaluation, especially in developing countries.
