At The Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Business and Management, a position as postdoc in innovation and Development is open for appointment from 1 August 2017 or soon thereafter. The duration of the position is 30 months.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The workplace is Aalborg University at the Campus Copenhagen.
The post-doctoral fellow will be based in the Innovation & Development research cluster in the IKE Research Group at the Department of Business and Management. The IKE group was established in 1977 and conducts research within the field of innovation studies. It is actively engaged in international networks, such as GLOBELICS, DRUID and the Schumpeter Society.
The postdoc will be connected to a research project on globalisation and innovation in sustainable energy industries in China. The position will include the following assignments:
Independent post-doc research project within the theme of Globalisation and Innovation in Sustainable Energy Industries in China.
Cross-sectoral comparative work drawing on the post-doc project and existing sectoral case studies.
Organising workshops to facilitate cross-sectoral comparison.
Coordination of a collaborative publication project, a book or journal special issue, during the last phase of the employment period.
Teaching and supervision up to a maximum of 20% of the working load.
Other tasks may be included in the job description following mutual agreement.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have academic qualifications at PhD level. In the selection of candidates, emphasis will be placed on research potential and pedagogical qualifications as well as experience with supervision and lectures.
The position will be allocated to an individual who holds a relevant PhD degree in the Social Sciences, such as Economics, Business Administration, Economic Geography, Development Studies or similar.

AGREEMENT
Appointment is in accordance with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Science’s Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities. Salary is in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) on Academics in the State.
